The scale colors are confusing ...

1) if you want to get scales consistent from one color within the palette to the other; it is hard to do so in the current form

2) in order to get the right palette, i feel like i'm arbitrarily adding scales w/o really knowing what i'm doing

3) it was helpful in the last version to have the scales displayed in the color map where you can move and adjust them; now with it being on the slider; not sure if it is a knowledge or skill issue; but i'm not sure how to operate it in the same way to get the effect that i'd want

4) for the whole palette; i'd like for each color to have a consistent scale colors; but getting it consistent throughout seems very difficult

5) its hard to add a first and last scale color; you have to add a second or second to last and then change the first or last based on the added ones
