New Color Systems:
Introduced 3 new color systems to the library:
- Kromatika
- Stripe
- Uber
Features:
- Shifts: A powerful and intuitive UI for generating hue, lightness, and saturation shifts. This new feature allows for creative exploration with ease.
- Auto/Manual Main Stop Position: By default, the palette generator intelligently places your main color based on lightness. For greater control, you can manually adjust its position using the new main stop slider.
- New Color Plane Visualization: Visualize boundaries and constraints of color spaces directly in LCH and OKLCH. This advanced visualization provides an intuitive understanding of color gamut limits.
- New UI Improvements:
-
Linear Easing
: Redesigned to be more compact and user-friendly, making linear easing adjustments quicker and simpler.-
Palettes List in the Generator
: The palettes list in the generator has been redesigned with a fresh and intuitive interface, enhancing usability and organization.- Generate Palette Helper: Select from predefined options to quickly generate monochromatic, analogous, light, dark, or neutral palettes, simplifying the design process.
- Improved Palette Color Generation with Relationships: Palettes now maintain consistency and uniformity by preserving color relationships. Changes to one color adapt dynamically, ensuring the entire palette retains its harmony.
Under the Hood:
- Switch to colorjs.io: Replaced chromajs with colorjs.io for more powerful and precise color manipulation, enhancing overall accuracy.
- Enhanced Export/Import: Semantic configuration is now included in export/import processes when available, ensuring a more complete transfer of palette data.
