In the latest version, this issue has been resolved with the new grouping feature.
You can now merge multiple palettes into a group, allowing you to combine palettes seamlessly into a single system. This way, you no longer need to worry about managing separate systems when they’re meant to be part of one.
I hope this makes your workflow much more intuitive! Let me know how it works for you or if there's anything else you'd like improved.

Hi,
Thank you for the feature request! I can see how merging palettes into a single color system could be incredibly useful. However, this is a bit more complex to implement, as there could be challenges when combining palettes with different modes (e.g., light/dark). These differences might create issues with displaying them properly in the plugin or saving them in Figma.
That said, I’ll evaluate how to approach this and consider potential solutions. I’ll keep you updated as I explore the feasibility of making it work. Thanks for sharing your idea! 😊

Angelo Libero I think the diffulty exisits in trying to add colors into an existing palette; when you add a new color, it creates a random color. It doesn't seem like it is possible to add one of the colors that you've explored into an existing system. So you end up with many different systems, when in fact, they're a single system.
The main action button is to create a new system when in reality, the user probably wants to generate a new color that will be integrated into a single system.
